Before I met Joelle, my life was orientated around my endometriosis. Everything I did was carefully calculated against the week of the month as I would spend 3 out of the 4 weeks 'minimising' key life activities to ensure I could work and rest. I was feeling isolated as it meant missing out on social interactions with colleagues, friends and family, as well as upsetting that I had to accept this reality of my life, that 3/4 of the time I wasn't able to do what I would have liked (whether that be a dinner after work with friends, or a gym class). 

I was introduced to Joelle and my life did a full 180 in a handful of sessions with Joelle. Before seeing Joelle my main symptoms were fatigue, bloating, abdomen pain, joint pain and mood swings (large fluctuations within a day). In the first month  I was able to live the life I'd always dreamed of. Outside of work I finally had a life again, my friends commented on my difference in energy and physical presence, my family noted how stable and steady my mood appeared and within myself I felt a happy, healthier me. 

Joelle has been the most important person in my multidisciplinary team as I'd given western medicine, pills and surgeries a go for 8 years and only Joelle has been able to bring me to feel a consistent 10/10 for days on end (now months at a time....). 

I rave about Joelle to my family, friends, colleagues and members of an endometriosis support group that I'm a part of. She has truly changed my life for the better and I credit her for my happy and healthy body and mind. 

I was very nervous to come off the pill (that I'd been on for nearly a decade) and with Joelle's help we did it safely and I've never looked back.  Earlier in 2019 my body went through big up and downs, emotionally due to losses in the family as well as physically, after deciding to come off the pill after nearly 14 years. It started very subtle with simply feeling uneasy, restless, and simply not myself. Ignoring all subtle symptoms I then started to experience insane dizziness attacks, especially when driving, to a point that I would worry that I would fear to lose consciousness while driving, so major anxiety and panic attacks followed. It was the scariest thing I have ever experienced and no doctor could help me. I went to get checked by my GP, had my ears checked, went to acupuncture, osteos, chiros, but no explanations for this weird state of mine, or much success after a length of treatments. Always facing a big commute getting to work and working in a very busy and fast paced industry, I really did not know what to do or how to do my every day life. 

That was the time I was referred to Joelle by a friend. I was absolutely amazed after the first session with her, she seemed to be asking the right questions to get the bigger picture but also to get to know me, looking for a deeper and real cause of my state of unwell being rather than just scraping on the surface. She prescribed me two different homeopathic remedies. One very much tailored to who she has come to understand I was, considering the things that moved and concerned me, emotionally and physically in my day to day life. The second remedy was to help with my hormonal imbalance due to coming off the pill. She gave me clear instructions on how to take these remedies and I pretty much experienced instant effects after starting to take them. Day 1, it almost felt like things would worsen and I would feel symptoms more vividly than ever. Day 2 symptoms were very subtle, and Day 3, I felt absolutely normal, no symptoms at all. I would then have to take a break from the remedy for up to a week, and observe the development. I still experienced subtle symptoms but a lot less than before, so  would repeat the remedy in 1-2 week rhythm over about 1.5 month and my symptoms disappeared completely, I finally felt myself again. Being very much drawn to the healing energy that surrounded Joelle, I also decided to go see her about a back injury that I experienced during this time and the HPV Virus that had caused me trouble over the past 10 years. She performed some energetic healing on me and that put a lot more ease on my lower back almost instantly, and in combination with my initially prescribed remedy, I would experience relief within a couple of weeks. Around that time I was also due for my check up at my gynecologist and could not actually believe the results that I tested negative for the HPV, this was huge for me as I never expected this to go away, and thought I would always have to live with the fear of developing bad or even cancerous cells again. 

So in a nut shell, I stumbled across Joelle as a practitioner desperate for someone to solve my dizziness, and she helped me with so much more. I will forever be grateful and continue to see her just for regular check ups, because I trust that she can help me heal when needed and support prevention of illness & disease in so many ways, and we all need a bit of that in our lives.

--I just want to say a huge thank you to you Joelle who has not only helped me with the physical issues but also my overall wellbeing. I started seeing Joelle in August this year after coming off birth control medication. I had been suffering with severe cystic acne and hormonal imbalances. My son Otis is nearly two and a half years old, and is a bright and sociable boy. He was brain damaged during his birth due to lack of oxygen, and consequently has cerebral palsy. He is exclusively tube fed, firstly through a nasal gastric tube till he was 1 and a half, and then through a mic key button in his tummy. He can roll over on the floor and is learning to sit and wants to learn to crawl and walk.

Joelle has been a very important part of our journey, and every time Otis sees her, (and receives a remedy), he is a little better off for it afterwards. Often a little bit more relaxed. He seems a little bit more ‘big boy’ somehow.

One day when we came home from our appointment with Joelle, Otis was just the same as before our appointment. I didn’t understand what was going on, and that was when I first realised that I expected Otis to be different after we came home from Joelle’s. And he was not different that day. His hands were still closed in tight fists. And then I spotted the tiny pillule that Joelle had given him, stuck in the wool on the chest of his vest. He had spat it straight out! Now I understood.

When he was 1 and a half years old he had undescended testes and no teeth, (but had long had lumpy sore looking gums). He was coming up for mic key surgery, and the medical professionals planned to perform another surgery at the same time to bring down his testicles. Joelle gave me homeopathic remedies for him and within a week he had both testes down, and 4 teeth through. I am so grateful that his body can be prompted to do this naturally, saving him having an extra surgical procedure with several incisions.

We were advised that our daughter would not walk, talk, swallow or eat.  She was born 11 weeks premature and suffered severe level 3 brain hypoxia at birth.  We are still heavily on our journey of recovery, however we can comfortably say that we are on the way to recovery.  This is due to the support of Joelle in conjunction with other modalities.  Currently our daughter is 10 months old and is starting to sit, is rolling, talking (lots), starting to take little tastes of food, she is starting to laugh and amazes us everyday with all of the new things she is discovering about herself.  We had a very difficult first winter due to pneumonia and influenza A, we have managed to avoid ongoing respiratory infections with Joelle's help.  We can not thank her enough for her support and hope that other families can benefit as we have and continue to.
